Montrey Strickland brings size, versatility, and early starting experience to Northern Colorado’s offensive line
In the 2025 season, Montrey Strickland appeared in five games and earned four starts, giving Northern Colorado a young but already-tested 6-foot-5, 320-pound offensive lineman with real live-game reps.[2] His differentiators are stability and athletic background: UNC says he stepped into a starting role in the middle of the season and added depth up front, while his Golden High profile shows a multi-sport athlete with strong football pedigree, first-team all-conference and all-state honors, and elite throwing power in track and field.[2][7] He looks like a good fit for a team that values size, toughness, and developmental upside.[2]
