Noah Bodden brings transfer-tested poise and playmaking upside to Southern’s QB room
Bodden is a 6-foot-4 quarterback with a strong arm and enough mobility to punish defenses when plays break down, and his recent college track record shows he can deliver efficient, clutch stretches against live competition. In Southern’s 2024 opener, he went 16-of-29 for 189 yards and 2 touchdowns, and he later earned SIAC Newcomer of the Week honors at Edward Waters after a 292-yard, 3-touchdown outing with no interceptions. His fit looks strongest in an offense that values downfield throws, poise under pressure, and a competitive transfer who has already proven he can earn a starting job. [7][8][4]
