Athletic RHP with Heavy FB and High Upside at Lipscomb
Tanner Lyne, a right-handed pitcher for the Lipscomb Bisons, stands out for his athletic delivery and whip-like arm action that suggests significant untapped potential. His fastball, ranging from 86–89 mph, is notably heavy and effective, making him a compelling prospect despite limited 2024 stats (12 games, 3 wins, 1 loss, 24.0 innings). Lyne’s intensity and natural mechanics indicate he’s a high-intensity competitor with a personality geared toward growth and resilience. While injury history isn’t publicly documented, his consistent performance and heavy pitch suggest durability. He’s an excellent fit for teams seeking a developmental RHP with elite arm speed and a heavy fastball, offering strong upside for future success.
