Tracey arrived at Tennessee as a highly regarded two-way prospect and flashed immediately in the 2026 season, including a three-inning, seven-strikeout debut start against Oakland and a freshman line of 28 strikeouts in 19.1 innings with a 3.26 ERA. His calling card is easy to love: a long, projectable 6-6 frame, left-handed arm action, and enough athletic upside to stay valuable on both sides of the ball.
