Penn State’s Slovenian Power Forward with Elite Efficiency and Physical Dominance
In the 2025-26 season, Tibor Mirtic averaged 3.7 points and 3.3 rebounds per game with a standout 53.2% field goal percentage, proving he’s a high-efficiency interior scorer for Penn State. At 6'9" and 255 lbs, Mirtic’s differentiator is his rare blend of size, strength, and Slovenian basketball IQ, allowing him to dominate close-range play despite limited minutes. As a freshman, he shows intense focus and a quiet, workmanlike personality—no flash, just relentless effort. While not a stat leader yet, his 53.2% FG% and physical presence make him a perfect fit for teams needing a reliable, low-maintenance forward who can absorb contact and convert efficiently. No injury history reported; his intensity level is consistently high, making him a valuable developmental asset.
