Tre Benjamin brings senior size and swing-and-miss upside to Butler’s rotation
In the 2026 season, Butler’s 6-foot-6 senior right-hander Tre Benjamin has logged 9.2 innings with a 7.45 ERA and 1.97 WHIP, but he’s also flashed strikeout ability, including a 4-K outing in 2.2 scoreless innings against Seton Hall. After a 2025 season in which he struggled to a 10.13 ERA at Butler, Benjamin still stands out for his frame, relief versatility, and prior success at Harford CC, where he posted a 2.96 ERA and held opponents to .205. He looks like a long-levered arm with upside if command tightens up.
