UNI’s tackle-eating, playmaking linebacker with all-conference juice
In the 2025 season, Tucker Langenberg became the heartbeat of UNI’s defense, leading the Panthers with 113 tackles (47 solo), 5.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and a fumble recovery, while earning First Team All-MVFC honors and moving onto the NCAA FCS leaders board at 9.4 tackles per game. He looks like a high-floor, high-motor fit for a defense that wants a physical, assignment-sound linebacker who can tackle in space, trigger downhill, and still flash enough range and production to make offenses account for him on every snap.
