UNH’s relentless edge disruptor and FCS award-winner
In the 2024 season, Josiah Silver was the engine of New Hampshire’s pass rush, leading the Wildcats with 11.5 sacks and 17.5 tackles for loss while earning CAA Defensive Player of the Year and AP FCS All-America First Team honors. He’s a high-motor, physical 6-foot-2, 247-pound defensive end who consistently wins with burst, effort, and backfield chaos—not just box-score production. Silver also showed playmaking value on special teams earlier in his career, and his all-around intensity makes him a clear fit for a team that wants an edge defender who changes games, not just snaps.
