Providence’s sturdy, versatile frontcourt engine
In the 2017-18 season, Rodney Bullock was the kind of forward coaches love: productive, durable, and always in the mix—he averaged 14.3 points and 5.8 rebounds in 32.9 minutes per game for Providence after leading the Friars in scoring and rebounding the year before at 15.7 and 6.4. He was a preseason All-BIG EAST selection, and his game fit the gritty Friars identity: physical, efficient enough to punish mismatches, and confident enough to step out and hit threes. The caution flag is his efficiency and the prior suspension history, but the upside is a tough, reliable veteran with real two-way lineup value.
