Pro-style arm talent, high-IQ Tribe QB with starter upside
Carroll arrives at William & Mary as a 6-foot-3, 195-205-pound quarterback with proven high-school production, school records for passing yards (6,859) and passing TDs (66), and a reputation as a pro-style leader with high-level arm talent and football IQ in the 2025 recruiting class. His profile suggests a good fit for teams that value poise, competitiveness, and structure over pure improv; the appeal is the polished passer who can grow into an offense rather than a rushed stopgap.
