Connor Cervantes brings starting-caliber production and downhill physicality to Valparaiso’s defense
In the 2025 season, Cervantes became a reliable presence for Valparaiso, playing in 10 games and making nine starts while finishing with 42 tackles, 29 solo stops, and 1.5 tackles for loss. At 6-foot-2, 210 pounds, he profiles as a physical, assignment-sound linebacker who held up well enough to finish the year with eight straight starts, which suggests trust from the staff and a steady feel for the position. He also earned PFL Academic Honor Roll recognition in 2024, a nice sign of discipline and consistency.
