big-bodied Hokies WR with size, upside, and a fresh start
In the 2025 season, Cameron Sparks arrived at Virginia Tech as a 6-foot-3, 205- to 215-pound receiver with verified recruiting buzz — rated as a four-star by ESPN and Rivals, and a three-star by 247Sports and On3 — after a senior year at Baylor School with more than 900 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. He’s appealing for teams that want an outside target with catch radius, physicality, and room to grow, but he’s still an early-career prospect and, as of 2026, has been described as no longer with the Hokies program after a spring setback, so his on-field value is tied to whether he can reset and develop cleanly.
