Brown freshman Olivia Sikes brings left-handed versatility and high-upside contact bat
Olivia Sikes, a 5-foot-6 left-handed 1B/OF from Fleming Island, Fla., arrived at Brown with a strong prep résumé: FACA Class 5A District Player of the Year, two-time team MVP/Defensive Player of the Year, and a senior year where she hit .544 with 71 career RBI. In the 2026 season, she appeared in 7 games, made 2 starts, and finished with a .143 batting average and .333 on-base percentage, flashing patience with 2 walks. The fit is intriguing: she’s a disciplined, academically driven, high-contact player with defensive versatility and room to grow into her bat.
