Juels Huntley brings explosive upside to Gardner-Webb’s backfield
Juels Huntley is a redshirt freshman RB at Gardner-Webb with a strong prep résumé, including 2024 SCISA 3A Player of the Year honors and all-region/all-state recognition at Florence Christian HS. Gardner-Webb’s own signing note described him as a “super explosive playmaker” with big catch-and-run ability, which fits a modern change-of-pace back profile. He still looks early in his college career, but his speed, open-field juice, and versatility make him a name to watch if a staff wants a developmental runner with upside rather than a polished volume workhorse.
