Jaydon Sutko enters Fresno State as a true freshman linebacker with a sturdy 6-foot, 227-pound frame, plus the kind of burst you notice on both sides of the ball — he also ran track in high school. In his senior season at Elkhorn South, he posted 34 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, 1 sack and 7 pass breakups on defense, while rushing for 1,568 yards and 20 touchdowns, which says a lot about his athletic upside and contact balance.
