Ruby Anderson brings Canada-tested poise and a no-hit ceiling to Utah Valley’s circle
Anderson is a right-handed pitcher who arrives at Utah Valley with a proven upside: 23.2 innings and 13 strikeouts as a Fresno State freshman in 2024, plus a redshirt year in 2025 because of injury, so the current question is health and re-entry, not talent. She has real differentiators—she was tournament MVP at Canada’s 2022 U-17 championship after throwing three no-hitters, and she has also logged innings with Canada’s national team, which points to composure against high-level hitters. If you need a competitor with international experience, ceiling, and starter-quality makeup, she’s a strong fit.
