Kyland Armstrong is a 6-foot-4, 294-pound redshirt freshman interior lineman for Wake Forest whose calling card is movement skill, not just mass; Wake Forest described him as having “elite movement skills for an inside player” when he signed, and his Oakleaf teams leaned on him to power productive run games in the 2021 and 2022 seasons. He did not appear in games for Wake Forest in the 2023 or 2024 seasons, so the big story is projection: if you want a developmental OL with athletic traits and a strong prep résumé, he’s a worthwhile monitor.
