Big-frame UNI veteran with preseason buzz and disruptive upside
Stortz enters the 2026 season as a 6-foot-4, 295-pound senior defensive lineman who earned MVFC preseason watch-list attention after starting seven games in 2025 before a season-ending injury. In the 2025 season, he posted 23 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, and 2 pass breakups, showing he can hold the point of attack and flash enough length to affect throws. If you want a sturdy, experienced interior piece with conference-level size and real rebound potential, he’s a very reasonable fit.
