Corey Richardson brings a live left arm and early-command upside to Jackson State
In the 2025 season, Corey Richardson appeared in two games for Jackson State and posted a 0.00 ERA with 4 strikeouts, 0 walks, and a 1.29 WHIP across 2.1 innings, a tidy small-sample glimpse of a left-handed pitcher with strike-throwing promise. He enters 2026 as a sophomore listed at 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, which suggests a bigger-bodied arm who could add durability and velocity as he matures. The fit question is simple: if your team wants a developing southpaw with upside, not a finished product, Richardson is worth a close look.
