Zyon Walker brings size, veteran steadiness, and a blue-collar interior presence to JSU
Zyon Walker is a big-bodied defensive lineman for Jackson State listed at 6-foot-1, 290 pounds in 2024, and he enters his senior year after developing into a seasoned interior piece for the Tigers[1][10]. His background suggests a tough, physical profile: in high school he earned all-state, all-region, and all-metro honors, was a team captain, and posted 27 tackles with 14 tackles for loss as a senior[1]. The key fit factor is reliability over flash—he looks like the kind of DL who can hold gaps, eat blocks, and bring veteran poise to a rotation.
