Veteran lefty returner with strikeout upside and proven weekend value
Isaac Warrick enters 2026 as a graduate-student LHP for UAB who already gave the Blazers real innings in 2025, working to a 3-3 record with a 6.07 ERA across 29.2 innings and 19 strikeouts, then drawing praise from UAB for leading the team with a 4.29 ERA before missing the final month with injury.[1][3][9] The appeal is the profile: a 6-foot-1, 200-pound southpaw with experience, a track record of starting games, and enough competitiveness to earn meaningful midweek and weekend looks; the main question for any team is health and command consistency, not raw intent.[1][3][5]
