JoJo Walker brings veteran shot creation and two-way guard stability to Portland
Walker has been a steady, experienced lead guard for Portland, highlighted by back-to-back seasons of double-figure scoring and playmaking, including 11.5 points and 3.3 assists per game in 2018-19 and 11.6 points with 2.5 assists in 2019-20.[1][6] His value goes beyond the box score: Portland credited him as the team’s active leader in points, minutes, steals, free throws made, and three-pointers made, which signals a guard who impacts winning in multiple ways.[6][7] He’s a good fit for teams needing a composed, competitive ball-handler who can score, create, and defend without demanding the spotlight.[7]
