Landon Kiefer brings strikeout upside and veteran poise to Lipscomb’s rotation
In the 2025 season at Albany State, right-hander Landon Kiefer went 10-1 with 98 strikeouts in 79.2 innings, finishing among Division II’s strikeout leaders and earning All-SIAC and all-region recognition; his calling card is swing-and-miss stuff, not timid contact management. Lipscomb’s roster notes also point to a redshirt-senior with a data-analytics mindset and a track record of missing bats in relief and starting roles, which makes him a sturdy fit for a staff that values experience, command, and competitive edge.
