Alaya Fitzgerald brings veteran scoring punch and big-game edge for Portland State
In the 2024-25 season, Fitzgerald was Portland State’s steady two-way senior wing, finishing as a 1,000-point scorer and averaging 11.6 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.2 assists per game, while also ranking among the Big Sky’s leaders in minutes and giving the Vikings reliable perimeter shooting and tough, high-usage production. The eye test backs it up: she can heat up fast, attack in multiple ways, and has shown she can carry stretches offensively, including a 25-point outburst in February 2025.
