Thomas Davis brings proven pass-rush juice to App State’s front seven
In the 2024 season, Thomas Davis was a steady disruptive piece for Appalachian State, appearing in all 11 games and finishing with 36 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 3.0 sacks; he also posted a career-high 1.5 sacks in the opener and added a fumble recovery, which tells you he can finish plays and create chaos. His edge is versatility and effort: he has transitioned from outside linebacker to defensive lineman, and at 6-foot-2, 240 pounds, he looks like a high-motor fit for an aggressive front.
