6'6" Penn righty Dillon Brandt is a high-upside arm waiting for a first real look
Brandt is a big-bodied, projectable right-hander for Penn who entered the program after a strong Texas prep résumé, including a 19-5 record, 1.45 ERA, and 188 strikeouts over 154.1 innings in high school. Penn’s 2026 roster listed him at 6'6", 195 pounds, but he did not see game action that season, so the best read is about upside, not present-day college production. If you need a long-term development arm with size, strike-throwing pedigree, and room to grow, he’s intriguing; if you need immediate innings, he’s still a bet on the future.
