Grant Garman brings swing-and-miss stuff and real bullpen value for Hawai‘i
In the 2026 season, Grant Garman has already shown he can miss bats and handle leverage, including a 3.0-inning, five-strikeout scoreless outing in his Hawai‘i debut and a 2026 staff role that shifted from starter to situational reliever. He’s a 6-foot, left-handed arm with enough strikeout punch to lead the team rate-wise last season at 12.24 K/9 over 25.0 innings, and he’s coming off a year in which he posted a 4.68 ERA with 34 strikeouts and only 14 walks. If a team wants a competitive lefty who can attack hitters and adapt, he’s a strong fit.
