Chaz McRoberts brings veteran right-handed depth and a late-season pulse for San Diego
In the 2026 season, Chaz McRoberts gave San Diego a usable veteran arm who could steady innings out of the bullpen and even take the ball in leverage spots, including a win over LMU in May 2026. The 5-foot-10 right-hander from La Mesa is a local, experienced option with strike-throwing utility, but his season line also shows he’s more of a grinder than a pure shutdown arm, so the fit is best for a team that values toughness, depth, and situational flexibility over big velocity headlines.
