Amani Howard brings versatile depth to UIW, but 2026 impact is still waiting to break out
In the 2026 season, Amani Howard is listed as a freshman utility player for Incarnate Word, but the official UIW roster notes she did not play, so there’s no stat line yet to sell you on just numbers[1][2]. What makes her interesting is the versatility package: her prep profile and recruiting materials show she was used across infield and outfield, with hitting, fielding, and base-running as selling points—classic glue-player traits for a coaching staff that values matchup flexibility and defensive coverage[3][8][15].
