multi-inning JMU right-hander with bullpen value
In the 2026 season, Holden McKinney has been a versatile arm for James Madison, appearing in 21 games with four starts and logging a 5.32 ERA, 2-4 record, one save, and 31 strikeouts, which points to a pitcher the Dukes trusted in multiple roles.[1][2] At 5-foot-11 and 200 pounds, the right-hander brings a compact, sturdy build and a proven track record as a heavily followed recruit out of Glen Allen, giving him bullpen flexibility and matchup value even as he works for more consistency.[3][4]
