Kansas City’s steady-shot guard with real résumé juice
Rob Whitfield has been a reliable perimeter piece for Kansas City, and in the 2019-20 season he averaged 9.8 points, 1.5 assists and 1.4 steals while leading the Roos in made threes with 69, a nice little “don’t leave me open” calling card. He also finished his Kansas City career ranked among the school’s all-time three-point leaders, which tells you the shot is the separator. If you want a guard who brings experience, spacing and active hands on defense, he’s a fit; if you need a high-usage creator, that’s not really his lane.
