Matt Johnson II is a steady two-way lead guard with proven creation and scoring touch
Matt Johnson II looks like a reliable, high-usage guard for Northern Colorado, producing 10.7 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 2.7 assists per game while shooting 44.5% from the field in the 2025-26 season[3]. At 6'2", he has a history of playing heavy minutes and leading the Bears in assists, which points to real trust as a primary organizer rather than just a scorer[8]. He’s a fit for a team that wants composure, ballhandling, and a guard who can create offense without needing constant spotlight touches[3][8].
