Hailey Darkwa gives NC A&T a versatile spark with freshman poise
In the 2026 season, Hailey Darkwa has been a useful utility piece for North Carolina A&T, hitting .231 with 3 hits, 5 runs, and 2 stolen bases while showing the kind of speed-and-versatility profile coaches love. She’s already been trusted in game-changing spots, including coming home as a pinch runner in a comeback sequence, which hints at solid instincts and confidence under pressure. If your team wants a young, adaptable player who can move around the diamond and add energy on the bases, she’s absolutely worth a look.
