Eze Osondu brings SEC-size, Texas-hardened linebacker upside to UTSA
Eze Osondu enters the 2026 season as a 6-1/6-2, 230-pound transfer linebacker with real downhill juice: in 2025 he played in 11 games and logged tackles against Louisville, Virginia Tech, Texas Southern and Boston College, while his high school résumé featured 115 tackles, 22 tackles for loss, 12 sacks and three forced fumbles. He was a consensus three-star recruit and was ranked as high as the nation’s No. 65 linebacker by ESPN, which tracks with a profile built on physicality, backfield disruption and multi-sport toughness. If your team wants an energetic, attack-minded LB with production pedigree and room to grow, he’s worth a hard look.
