Simon Ghee brings size, versatility, and upside to EKU’s front
In the 2026 season, Simon Ghee projects as a sturdy, developing defensive lineman for Eastern Kentucky, listed at 6-foot-2 and 272 pounds after steadily adding mass since arriving on campus. EKU’s own notes described him as “extremely athletic” with the potential to grow into a boundary end, and his high-school résumé included district Player of the Year honors and all-conference defense recognition. He has limited game production so far, but the appeal is clear: length, athleticism, and room to keep ascending — the kind of lower-usage DL who can become a sneaky-good fit in the right system.
