Kansas State’s Versatile UTL with SS Roots and High-Intensity Drive
Donte Lewis, a 5'11", 185-pound utility player for the Kansas State Wildcats with strong shortstop fundamentals, brings elite versatility and a R/R (right-handed bat and throw) profile that makes him a plug-and-play fit for any lineup needing defensive flexibility. Though his 2025 ERA of 6.63 reflects pitching struggles, Lewis’s differentiator is his relentless intensity, baseball IQ, and ability to handle multiple positions—traits that outweigh raw stats for coaches valuing adaptability. Born in March 2006, he’s in his prime development window, and while injury history isn’t publicly documented, his compact frame and SS background suggest durability. If you need a high-energy, multi-position asset with a gritty personality, Lewis is a compelling add.
