Clemson’s massive tackle prospect is a long-term bet with big upside
Adam Guthrie is a 2026 Clemson offensive tackle signee who arrived as a four-star, blue-chip prospect and one of the nation’s top OL recruits, but his freshman season is being slowed by a meniscus injury and another lingering high school issue. In the 2025 season at Miami Trace, he helped anchor an offense that powered 3,723 rushing yards and 48 rushing touchdowns, which hints at real trench violence and run-game value. At 6-foot-6/6-foot-7 and around 285 pounds, his frame, power, and SEC/ACC-caliber upside make him a strong future fit—just not an immediate one.
