a relentless, high-motor forward who stuffs the stat sheet
Burnell’s calling card at Jacksonville State was two-way production with real juice: in the 2018-19 season, he led the Gamecocks with 17.2 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 98 assists while shooting 50.7% from the field, and he finished his JSU career with 943 points and 518 rebounds. He’s the kind of forward who impacts winning beyond scoring — physical on the glass, willing as a passer, and durable enough to handle heavy minutes. If you want toughness, versatility, and a player who raises the intensity level, Burnell is your guy.
