Adysen Rios brings speed, versatility, and late-game impact to EIU
In the 2026 season, Eastern Illinois freshman utility player Adysen Rios has been a trusted defensive sub and situational weapon, appearing in 32 games and hitting .200 while giving the Panthers flexibility across the field.[3] Her value isn’t just in the box score: she arrived after a decorated high-school career with second-team All-State honors, a defensive-player-of-the-year nod, and elite speed that produced 38 stolen bases in her senior season.[2][13] She also earned Easton/NFCA All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition in 2026, a nice signal of high-character, high-discipline fit.[10]
