Army freshman Isaiah Linyear is a promising 212-pound power back still waiting for his first college snaps
Isaiah Linyear is a 2026 Army freshman running back at 5-foot-11, 212 pounds from Niskayuna, N.Y., and he has no recorded college statistics yet, so the current read is more projection than production. His fit jumps off the page: Army tends to value sturdy, physical backs, and Linyear’s build suggests short-yardage thump, downhill running, and the kind of contact balance that can earn trust fast. The flip side is simple—he’s still an unknown on Saturdays, so the intrigue is in his frame, system fit, and developmental upside rather than a stat line.
