Jaylen George brings proven run-stopping pop to Nebraska’s defensive front
In the 2025 season, Jaylen George played in seven games for Nebraska and logged three tackles and one quarterback hurry, but his real value is the punch he brings as a rugged, versatile DL with a long frame, good leverage, and the ability to play inside or as a five-tech. He arrived with a strong FCS résumé, including first-team All-SoCon honors and 23 career starts at ETSU, and he was praised for disrupting the run and using his length to keep blockers off his chest. A torn pectoral slowed his Nebraska spring, but he still turned heads in camp.
