Eddie Peters is flashing real two-way polish for Xavier in 2026
In the 2026 season, Xavier infielder Eddie Peters has emerged as a legit line-drive threat, batting .308 with 20 hits, 7 doubles, a home run, and 16 RBI in 17 games while starting every contest[1]. He brings size (6-foot-2, 195), right-handed balance, and enough defensive versatility to handle shortstop/infielder duty, but the real sell is his steady spring-to-summer jump: after a .173 freshman season in 2025, he’s clearly trending up[1][2]. If your team wants an energetic, improving middle-infield bat with upside and some bite, he’s worth the watch[1][2][3].
