Freshman guard Chelsea Bishop brings sneaky scoring pop and defensive hustle to EMU
Chelsea Bishop is a 5-foot-10 freshman guard for Eastern Michigan who showed real upside in her 2024-25 debut season, averaging 2.9 points and 1.2 rebounds in 11 games while flashing a much bigger ceiling in a career-high 11-point outing against Central Michigan in 2025, where she also had a team-high two steals. Her calling card is two-way energy: she can pressure the ball, create a few extra possessions, and she already has a winning pedigree from Grand Blanc, where she was a conference MVP and led a 23-5 team. If you want a tough, rising guard with room to grow, she’s worth a look.
