Michael Bright brings live arm upside to Memphis bullpen
In the 2026 season, Memphis right-hander Michael Bright is a redshirt sophomore at 6-foot-3 and 184 pounds, giving the Tigers a projectable frame and a power-pitcher look that fits the modern bullpen mold[1][2]. His appeal is the ceiling: he was recruited out of New Manchester HS as a top-30 shortstop in Georgia and has since converted into a mound piece with real arm strength, which suggests athleticism and untapped upside[7]. If your team wants a developmental arm with size, competitiveness, and room to grow, Bright is a worth-a-close-look fit rather than a finished product[1][3].
