Colin Reynolds brings big-play size to Maryland’s backfield, but the sample is still tiny
Reynolds is a 6-foot-2, 200-pound redshirt freshman running back at Maryland with a strong high-school résumé, including 1,550 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns in 2024 and Interstate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Year honors. Maryland lists him as having not appeared in game action as a freshman, so the appeal is more about projection than proven college production. His differentiators are size, downhill frame, and proven production at Georgetown Prep; the question for a team is whether his power and upside translate against Big Ten speed once he gets real carries.
