Braeden Orlandi is already a tone-setting tackler for Montana’s secondary
Orlandi has hit the ground running at Montana in the 2026 season, leading the Grizzlies with 11 total tackles through two games, including an eight-tackle debut against Southern Utah. The 6-foot-1, 200-pound senior transfer brings proven production and edge: he was an NAIA All-American at Carroll College, posted 136 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 2 interceptions and 5 pass breakups in his sophomore season, and drew notice as a Frontier Conference Defensive Player of the Year. He looks like a fit if you want a physical, high-motor safety who can diagnose fast and tackle cleanly.
