Elite Rim Protector with 62% FG for Grambling State
Travon Bunch, the 24-year-old center from Racine, WI, is a data-driven differentiator for Grambling State in the 2025-26 season, averaging 5.7 points and 5.4 rebounds per game while shooting an elite 62.0% from the field[2][4]. His true strength isn't just scoring but his defensive intensity, evidenced by a 1.4 blocks-per-game average and a standout game with 4 blocks and 9 points[3][4]. Bunch's differentiator is his relentless, high-intensity personality and career-high defensive versatility (2 steals in 2020), making him a perfect fit for teams needing a physical, low-maintenance anchor who protects the rim without demanding excessive touches[2][3]. While his assist numbers are low (0.1 per game), his efficiency and defensive presence make him a reliable, injury-free contributor who elevates team defense immediately[4].
