ODU's Dunking Defensive Dynamo (2011-2015)
Richard Ross, Old Dominion's 6'6" forward, electrified C-USA with career averages of 7.6 PPG, 5.6 RPG, and 54.9% FG through 2015, peaking at 9.9 PPG and 2.3 BPG in 2013-14 while earning Best Defender honors; his explosive athleticism produced SportsCenter-highlight dunks vs. Hofstra and Murray State, pairing rim protection with high school All-American track speed. A high-motor rebounder with 15.5 RPG in HS, Ross's intensity and versatility make him a prototypical energy big—ideal for teams needing blue-collar toughness, though undrafted, his pro stints abroad prove enduring pro-level grit.
