Landon Vandegrift is a strike-throwing bullpen arm with swing-and-miss upside
Vandegrift brings a live right arm and real relief value for Akron, with reports showing 90–93 mph velocity and a touch 94, plus strikeout production that includes 32 Ks in 26 innings in one recent season and a 3.46 ERA with a 1.12 WHIP in that span. He profiles as a competitive, high-leverage RHP whose best trait is missing bats when he’s in sync, though his earlier Akron season showed some run prevention volatility. If you need a pitcher with bullpen upside, strikeout ability, and late-inning tools, he’s worth a close look.
