Carter Walters brings left-handed thump to Marshall’s outfield mix
Walters is a 6-foot-2, 215-pound freshman corner outfielder for Marshall who was added for his physical left-handed bat and projected power, with the coaching staff specifically saying his hit tool and pop can impact the lineup in the 2025 season. He’s the kind of player who matters if you want upside: strong build, power potential, and a profile that fits a run-producing corner spot. The main question is experience, since he arrives straight from Spencer County HS, but the bat-to-ball/power blend makes him an intriguing fit for a team needing offensive ceiling.
